Cotton Silk and Porcelain is a small business by Marcia Pickard representing all her various forms of artwork. This site is a catalog of her creative pottery forms designed specifically for orchids and approved by her many orchid children.
The Short Version
My name is Marcia (pronounced Mar-sha), and I am a textile and ceramic artist who grew up in Maine. I earned a Bachelor of Fine Art degree at California College of the Arts in CA, where I saw, fell in love with, and purchased my very first orchids. I now live in FL, where my large orchid family flourishes, and I create unique, handmade stoneware pottery to make them happy. I hope they make you and your orchid family happy too!
